I’m a wife and mother, and I love being both.
I’m not highly organized, though I try to be. Half the time I’m trying to find one of three lists I’ve written throughout the day just so I can check things off and feel like I’ve done something productive.
I chase a two-year old around most of the day, and also have a fresh-Kindergartner that I miss for 6 hours of everyday while he’s in school. I love the life given to me, and I feel blessed every time I wake up to another morning of fun and excitement (even if the most exciting thing we do that day is laundry). My husband and I have almost 7 years of wedded bliss (haha, yeah- we’re “perfect” all right). We’re quite mad really, but that’s OK- we are happy, in love, a bit….odd I suppose, but rather normal in most respects. We love love love roadtripping… not RV roadtrips, but quick 3 hour drives around the state. I sometimes worry that our kids will forever have memories of the back of our headrests- but at least we take pictures that prove they saw more than just that!
I won’t promise to always be interesting, funny, creative, worth reading…. and then again, why would I? This blog is a place for me to vent, express my heart, share my faith, share what God is doing in my life, share the love that is within me, write nonsense and ideas (not necessarily in that order).
I’m anxious to figure out this website and play around now…. though I’m acutely aware that this blog isn’t very grand, hopefully I’ll get better with age.
