Hey girly!
I totally know how you feel, geez..if our grandchildren look back and think that's how we were (like Desperate Housewives) it will be a very bad thing. I always think of the 50's as being that "perfect" decade, I know it wasn't it, but my grandma says things were definitely different back then.
How I wish women didn't complain of being home, having to clean and cook, when really it is such a blessing. I'm so happy that we have accepted this role with love and thankfulness. I wouldn't have it any other way, really.

Oh, thank-you so much for the cookie recipe. I think I may make that for Dima's party on Monday, looks pretty easy and yummy, too.

I would go to some thrift stores and antique shops and look for some aprons, I've gotten plenty there and they are vintage and cheap!

Hugs to you all!

I have a philosophy about the 50's - The 60's didn't follow the 50's for no reason. If the 50's were so perfect I don't think that dramatic change in society would have happened. Nothing new under the sun and sin was still alive and kickin. Well anyways. Just a thought.
I hope you post your recipe for ginger snaps. They sound yummy.
Many Blessings,
Debbie aka The Real World Martha (where life is not so perfect)
